Our custom-built software all lives in /usr/sup. Look there before asking for a package. If you want a software package installed on CS/ECE Linux systems, including new libraries for Python, Ruby, Node, or other languages, don’t try to install it yourself. Instead, send mail to staff@eecs.tufts.edu.
Software we won’t install includes:
- Sublime Text. Sublime is payware and they don’t offer an educational discount. As the cost of a suitable license for our systems would be prohibitive, and we have numerous other editors available, we will not install Sublime Text.
